Seeking Out High Quality Links
June 7, 2008
I have recently written about the importance of links. When I last discussed this topic, I highlighted the importance and usefulness of getting high quality links rather than a plethora of links that are considered less authoritative. This time, I will examine some ways to find high quality links and how best to make use of them.
When looking for high quality links, one of the most important things to do is to research the links. This can take a while and can be tedious, but it is well worth your while and can definitely help you optimize your site. Here are some things to look for when you are searching for high quality links:
One thing that is important to remember when building links is to make sure that you are careful with paid links and reciprocal links. While these assist you in finding more links, they are not always acceptable to search engines and can have negative effects on your rank and campaigns. Beginning with these tips, researching links should be a little easier and more productive. While recognizing the benefits of having multiple links to your site, it is important to remember that more often than not, quality is better than quantity. Ensuring that the links that you create are of a high quality is a benefit not only for your growth but also for your marketing.
